lets say I bought that turbo that I found on eBay. Recommend me a manifold. Also how would I go about connecting the compressor side to my intercooler piping?

Ebay IC piping O_o

if you already have a turbo/intercooler installed now I'd imagine it wouldn't require much modification to change out the turbo... i think

the compressor end on that Nissan Turbo looks like it bolts up to something rather than using a coupler to connect it to the intercooler plumbing

Doh. I did that at the end of 2016. The pop ups do an anazi g job of throwing the deer instead of letting them come through the windsheild...

If I can't source them in a reasonable time Ill go FF. My MS should ship out today or tomorrow, I'm super excited. Thanks again for all the input guys.
It will never happen for 2 grand if you buy new stuff. Plan on spending more like 4k at least to do it right or 3k and cut corners and wind up spending more in the long run. I am in the process of turboing my 1.6 too. I am already in over 2k and I don't even have an ecu, injectors or turbo yet.

(PICTURE WARNING)

So hitting a deer and having to get the outside somewhat finished again was killing my motivation.
Before Bambi:

After:

Thats after sorting the front end out some and putting the bare minimum effort into making it legalish. The fog lights I had ordered back in December but never installed. I got lucky in that they happen to fit the bumper support bolt holes and clear (barely) the turn signal openings in the bumper with the included brackets. I have since had the hood repaired (it closes now) and the headlight bracket bolt holes realigned. No pics right now but rocking a black headlight cover. Im not going to do any more cosmetic work until I finish the actual build.

Sorry for the low light bad pics but the hype was real. I did as much research on this as I could. I was going to go with another brand but it was going to end up costing nearly $500 for their setup after picking up all the needed goodies. The vband clamp seems decent and the gaskets also seem to be usable. The motors on these have an issue in cold temps (as do other brands) but work fine once warmed up. They use the same motor on all sizes they offer and replacements are about $30 if needed. I am going to replace the switch and I'll source the 12v power from something other than the cigarette lighter O_o. All of the welds look good and the motor has a rubber cap on the end which will help keep water/debris away from it where the power runs in.

Intercooler:

Nothing spell bonding here. Ebay intercooler from CX racing. there were a few in the same size for around $65 but whether they were bar and plate or not was flaky so I went for this one for $15 more.

Mani:

Actually worried about this one the most. It was $260 and the guy (seller) on ebay said it had no problem fitting larger turbos so "stock" size would clear for sure. He seemed to know what he was talking about in our emails and said if there was any issues to return it and he would modify it or repair it. He said he can/will make basically any flange combo I wanted in any position I wanted. I was worried about having PS and AC so went with top mount... we'll see if this was a wise decision. The worst part for me was Kraken offering his mani's for 1.6 for basically the same price. But if this works I'll be happy enough and I'm always happy to help "the little guys". Wish me luck.

Turbo Outlet:

From the legendary company called CHINA. Welds seem ok. Surface ins't milled which has me worried but a light deburring and it lays flat on my glass coffee table with no wobble... that's standard testing procedure right?

Turbo Rebuild Kit:

No pics of the rebuild kit but it included this brand new, pre-owned, TD04 turbo. What a bargain!

I swear I had a picture of the dip handle too but I can't find it. It came out really nice. I used a drill bit to deepen the bottom of it some more so it would completely cover whats left of the hold handle. I also sanded it smooth and hit it with a light wipe of acetone to shine it up. I'm very pleased with it. I've had it installed for a couple weeks now and no issues melting or anything

I ordered a few other none turbo related bits and of course the fender. I picked up a headlight here local for $65 and the cheapest fender I could find online was from amazon of all places and it fits perfectly as far as I can tell. Think it was $130 or so. I can link it if any are interested.

Sorry for the Picture overload

I love my 13T. Bought for $50, rebuild kit for like $35 and rebuilt it myself. Oddly enough I bought it before I knew wtf I was doing, and I was one of those guys doing a turbo build around a random turbo from craigslist. I just happened to accidentally choose the right one lol. See my build if you'd like details.

I have read every post in your build thread lol. I'm even ok with the green

I've borrowed a lot of ideas out of yours and Aidans builds. The catch can the IC piping and a lot of other stuff. People don't belive me but I literally sit at work all day and read old build threads...

I think I still have some of the water fittings I custom made to get rid of those stupid 12mm water pipes. LMK if you need something.

you can just buy a 3 bolt adapter for a sillicon coupler to bolt up to for the compressor outlet, and a 2 bolt for the inlet

I made 8mm nipple adapters where those banjo bolts go. Those adapter don't exist as its an oddball thread. M12x1.25 if memory serves. I think I have a pair left, but Id have to look.

But the oil feed is 10mmx1.5 and the coolant is 12mmx1.25 I don't know why I'd want a 12mmx1.5.

Or do I have the sizes wrong?
