If it is dripping from that flange:

You also have an exhuast leak. That connection should be TIGHT.

It can come from the turbo or the engine, but my guess would be turbo. How much do you know about how it was treated on the WRX before you got it? Mileage? Condition? Etc.

If you have that much oil coming from the engine, then I would take a good look at valve seals.

Has the car smoked? What problem were you experiencing at idle?

Upon further inspection, it is not oil, but dirty water. There is a large 2'x4' puddle under the exhaust.

I'm 100% sure it's fuel since the car caught on fire this morning. Luckily, just some extra fuel got burnt. It's a good thing I had an extinguisher handy.

Sounds like the car is a lot to rich and it is pouring out of the exhaust, or you could have a sticky injector???

I'm thinking it might be an injector. I will try it with the stock injectors (and a stock map) to see if it works better.
Is there an easy way to tell if an injector is sticking open?

How about jumper the fuel pump with the injectors out and the ignition off. Would that tell you?

I would imagine the injectors would just shoot out of the fuel rail, but maybe i'm wrong.

Have the extinguisher ready again for this but....

Start the car. Disconnect injectors one at a time. Each time you disconnect one, the car should start running like crap. If you disconnect one and its the exact same, then you have your winner. The problem with that is that I think its already running like crap.

If you have enough fuel to be puddling and leaking everywhere, I would just pull some spark plugs and look down into each cylinder. If you get one with a puddle down there and a strong gas smell, you have your winner.
