Yea thats why I made it closer to the engine than the frame, plus I have solid motor mounts so movement will be very minimal.

Ill get you the pics when Im done, Im not to happy with some of the welds, I tryed some of this weld through tape the welding store gave me to demo, specificaly for back purging and I didnt like the out come, I had some sugaring in a few places. I also had trubble cleaning some of the parts after plasma cutting them, I found that plasma cuases major sugar and you have to grind the heck out of it before you weld to it or your screwed. But hey this is my first manifold and I dont ever do much with stainless so Im quite happy over all with the project so far.

This stuff was aluminum foil like, It has adhesive on two sides and nothing in the middle, so you are supose to just "weld through" it but it did some strange things so I just diched it.

It worked great for blocking off the flanges though!

now it just needs some nice loom so make it look organized, and I need to make a hold down bracket. FYI its all soldered and heat shrunk, no but connectors.

HAHA that's great

What are you going to do about the ewg sitting so high up and hitting the hood?
Also that turbine flange looks like its directly over the rail: looks like it will be a SUPER tight fit for the turbo.
And how are you planning to route the wg tube? Looks like the manifold blocks off its passageway to the dp

the waste gate has plenty of clearance thats what the second pic is. Ill get some pics of the turbo on the mani soon, the turbine housing was still hot when I took the pic from welding up the internal waste gate hole. and I have not welded the 90 on the compressor housing yet that it will have. The hardest thing will be the the wastgate routing to the down pipe. it must go behind the manifold by the dip stick.

That's also where the heater core hoses are. Did you remove yours altogether or just for now? If you have your wg tube right next to em they will melt fast

Oh, I somehow missed that this is a gutted track car. In that case go nuts and vent straight out the hood
