DIY finally running!

it was actually a small colant drip on a pully, resulting in a colant bath under the hood. All it needs is a damp towel to clean up. With luck today I can hook up the SAFC I and fuel pump, then I can run at boost witout worry. Last night just made me hungrier(I took it for a small test with the o2 senser out so it would flood it with fuel and just touched boost).
Specs are as follows.
16g turbo
greddy tubular racing manifold w/ external wastegate(you usually see them for sr20s and such, I just got REALLY lucky with finding it. Retails at $1600 in japan)
HKS external wastegate with 5.62 lb spring
Custom made downpipe
(parts waiting but not installed)
SAFC I
255lb fuel pump
HKS boost controller
440 supra injectors
Blitz turbo timer

Your're going to melt your home depot 90* off the compressor outlet.
Did you tap the pan, that turbo sits too low not to have.
Is the crankcase braether line still hooked into the crossover? If so, plug that bitch.
Investing in a 2.5"/3" 45* silicone bend would put your filter right behind the headlight
and clean up your poop stains and heat wrap your water lines and brake lines and master, and while your at it the rubber bend off the turbo.

Also it's nearly touching the manifold. Clock the turbo a couple degrees, plus the (above recommended) high temp silicone.
Any I/C plans?

actually the 45 angle isnt as close as it looks. Its flexible pvc and the silicone one is in the mail. It is a 16g because its a t05. It is not close to the stock greddy setup. That picture was literally taken right after we finished hooking everything up. I still plan on capping the crank, thats happening tommorow. I have an intercooler setup planned, just need to get the pipes for it.
Oil pan IS tapped, as there was no way I was going to get away with running it around the block. After the little things are taken care of, its heat shielding for everything in the area.
Thanks for the reminders though. It helps to double check over my checklist to make sure Im not forgetting anything

Hes running a 16G with a mitsu turbine housing...look at the manifold it has a 3 bolt flange. 16G's look smaller than 15G's from the outside...inside the wheels and housings are a LOT better.

i know the difference i just wanted to see if he was realy running a 16g like me or just didn't know what comes with a greddy. come on andy you are better than that. i have full measurment of the differneces in flanges also as i initialy bought a 15g to use and then opted for a 16g instead. yeah i know the difference it is about 1.5 inches or so on some of the flange dimensions. not to mention cfm or other propertys.

You definitely have a talent for adapters, tubing and hose clamps. Nice job- good to see budget DIY efforts at work.
