I guess I'll just sort that out when the engine is back in the car so I can see what will fit. Clutch is supposed to be here Wednesday

Any update on this? I'm running a similar sized turbo on my 1.8 (t3/t4 w/ .48 ar turbine and 71mm compressor exducer) and it's fun but the spool leaves much to be desired. Really considering picking this turbo up.

stop talking about it and just do it.

here's a link for you all to read: https://www.miataturbo.net/build-thr...-yellow-48386/

notice on post #7 he shows off his T3/T4 chinaturdo.

then 30 days later he switches it out for the turbo I, your humble admin, suggested in post #49. I think this sums it up:

Told you.

his dyno results were what I expected, but he was giving up a bunch of midrange (compared to my setup) by ingoring my suggestion of going to a 3" exhaust: https://www.miataturbo.net/dynos-tim...y-setup-56729/

220tq and 250hp on a dynojet.

So keep on fighting the urge to run a good cheap turbo and enjoy your slow-spooling, slow, pos, no-torque setup.

Make sure you check torque on all your CHRA bolts.

Shortly after I made that post I went ahead and bought the turbo. I will post comparison logs in a week when the it gets here. Also, for anyone looking to buy this turbo, I offered eBay seller racingparadise $200 (They were asking $220) and the offer was accepted.
