No, brain means looking into the turbine inlet, not the turbine outlet.
30psi in 4th gear (6speed tranny) by 4000rpm should be do-able especially with extra timing in low boost rows with WI. My only concern would be more backpressure at high boost meaning less timing up top.
If I were you I might also look into putting an additional WI nozzle at the turbo compressor inlet.

Ahhh, I dont know if I have a good pic of the inlet into the turbine housing. If I do, its a dumpy pic and was used just to get the correct twinscroll flange.
Let me look though.
This housing is typically used for a 3076 on an evo.
I dont think I will run into any back pressure issues either.
Evos run 35psi all day with this housing and a 3076.

get some sweet onboard footage...
or even if you have a practice event, get some footage showing how fast this turbo picks up.
Is there a reason to do the evo turbine as opposed to say a twin scroll in the t3 or t4 variant housings?

Sorry, it was delayed a bit.... Still hoping it will get tuned next week.
I have a go pro now. I should have some solid footage of this thing on the dyno and on the track. If the dyno plot sucks, It wont even hit the track it will come right off and be for sale here ..
As for the Evo X housing, with Turbo by Garrett providing the product, this is what they felt would meet my goals.
If its close, but not close enough, I may look into a twin scroll .64 housing and see how that rocks. If it sway off, smaller turbo time again, but a much more efficient manifold..
I am really hoping this thing just rocks for me though..

As one of the last 4 cylinder holdouts in Formula Drift, I still don't know why you've never run a well controlled n2o setup just on the low end to help spool. As I understand it, it has been and still is common in japan, where they are still running relatively smallish displacement motors.

I think the only reason why it didn't pickup in the US is how easy and cheap a ls swap is on most cars. I believe power adders and fuel are still wide open in FD. I've got the rulebook right here.
That said, if it was me, I'd just switch to a mustang if I wanted to be competitive in FD on a "budget".
John did a great job on those hot bits.
