For my next setup I will be putting together a V-mount using a Solstice intercooler and lowering the radiator with custom brackets. The core dimensions are 26-1/4" x 6-3/4". Overall dimensions are 33-1/2" x 6-3/4" x 2-3/4". Inlet and outlet tubes are both 2-1/2" diameter. I will also be making an air diverter to direct more air.
Ok good, so it's been figured out. Last I had heard it was still a mystery GM wasn't ready to share. Think about it though...you have condensation in a controlled accumulation in the intake tract...what do people do with water in the intake? Take a look under the hood of a Skystice, and the electronics/sensors in the intake tract. You can figure it out.
I didn't say that...
Look at the electronics...the ECU most certainly knows, and takes advantage, when vaporized water is entering the chambers, whether it can be considered "injection" or not could be up for debate.

It's just two pieces of hose, with a loop on one end. At the other end, both hoses connect to the tank.

the ecu can accomodate WI without any issue, but I know for a fact that the ECU is not configured to control WI in a solstice. I was on the design team the built the damned ECUs (model code: MED 9.6.1). unless something changed after the 2nd year of the model anyways... the first two I know didn't have it in the ecu.
sorry for the hijack.
