Default woohoo reduced my spool to 4100!

Well rember how I could barly tap 13 psi in 3rd, at like 5 k rpm?

Well it seems the wastegate I used had too weak a spring and was opening the wastegate!

So I sorta riged a 19 lb spring from home depot on there and now it spools so much better!

I actually hit 13 psi in 2ed gear now haha.

woot.

nono, the backpressure created from the exhaust spinning the turbine would push the wastegate valve open, thus the exhaust gas would bypass the turbine when the compressor created anyhting over 6 psi of boost.

This was because I used a wastegate actuator from a smaller turbo, the spring in it is way too weak to hold back the exhaust backpressure.

The car is like a whole new car now, much improved.

I already have EBC, and I have it set just the way you said, brain, in another thread. (I got the spool down to 4k RPM now.. hehe)
