This is total Bull! Thanks for sharing that image Ian. The guy is the nicest guy and has been providing us nice photos for free since I have been racing. He literally promotes coming out on Wednesday night too. I think the only benefit he has received is waiving the $15 spectator fee.

Had a fun night, except I really need to stop red lighting in the final so I can get some more wins. I clearly need to work on that, I wonder if Supermiata sells a Miata driver upgrade
Anyway, I took 2nd and saw this crazy 9 second mustang.

I wasn't feeling so hot last night, ate a bunch of chocolates the night before and didn't sleep well. Dang those fancy chocolates, I always eat too many. I don't really know why I let off before I passed my opponent, too sleepy I guess, out on the first round.

Thanks Ed, that nice clutch disc you guys got me is really performing well.
I had a great night and took 2nd place. My friend was having trouble with his traction control in the final. I missed a shift, I had cut a light on him but only sandbagged enough for a little wheel spin, not a missed shift. At least I didn't go red in the final, my new nickname, Carlos "Red in the final..." The tech guys were hilarious and put "Dog walker" on my window, cracked me up so I left it.

Oh by the way, that blue Mustang behind me was the car that dialed 11.55 but couldn't hook up. I knew he wouldn't when I saw his pilot sports, still trapped 120. It has a Rousch(spelling?) supercharger kit, in case anyone is interested.

You and Sonny can drive too, I have seen you. It just takes a few times to get the hang of it, but thanks.
Look at my last pass, two gold brickin' sand baggers exposed. I had a funny launch, spinning and hopping and figured I better make up the time, was my best 60' of the night
In the winners circle from last week.

I ran "Jackpot" last night, the competition is tough. I was eliminated on the first round. Fortunately, if you are eliminated on the first round in "Jackpot" you can jump back in "Gear Jammers" because we run after "Jackpot." So I was a semi finalist, but they don't have any more semi final trophies this year.

Went to the 1st bracket race in a while yesterday. I wasn't sure if my new helmet would arrive on time so I just ran stock. Boy is this thing slow, I shifted at 6 grand because I couldn't wait for the thing to climb any more. I am not used to driving it like this and my lights even sucked. I was out on the first elimination round, still not too bad against an automatic. A couple people were pretty funny when they saw my 10.5 dial, I was getting comments like, "You know we're only running eighth mile right?"

Had a rough first Wednesday night. I popped a boost coupler off and spit my dipstick out twice. That was it for me. Somehow this stuff never shows up on my initial shakedowns, only actually running an 1/8 or 1/4 mile pass. It was still fun to see a bunch of those guys.
