I made those numbers with like 14psi on a 2554. Something is way off with your setup.

Dude. I was so excited to see that someone else was running man boost.

But then I saw the world's saddest dyno chart.

Your boost taper is prolly due to VE fail.

Still though. Even with 16psi you should be at well over 200hp.

Please provide your build list of everything. I got the first item:

Zipties.

I think around 12 psi it was at 180 whp at higher rpm, I'll have to check again

Here is a comparsion of 20psi taper to 16 with some knock at the end of the run vs 12psi hold

this was mine at 13psi:

why are you choking up so much up top? that turbine flows much better than a gt28 and the compressor is good for ~300rwhp

I"m not sure, I"m gonna retry later and remove the exhaust and just run the downpipe down and see if it holds boost out to the end of the revs

If I remember your build thread (that I unsubscribed from because I was disgusted) correctly then this dyno plot really doesn't surprise me. Heck, I'm impressed the car is running at all, actually.

But can you post up a full list of your setup?

t3 60 trim off a nissan vg30e using a .48 ar turbine housing
2.5in all the way back to a flowtech warlock muffler exhaust
tacotaco turbo log header
evo 8 intercooler
stock coils with platnium plugs gapped down to .034 ngk 6 heat range
ebay xtd clutch 6 puck - slipping
rx7 460cc injectors

fuel held steady around 12 to 11 range. Knock was occuring at high rpm range, 6200-7000.

93 AKI only, no screwing around.

or perhaps you don't realize that load effects the turbo output.
the pulls posted were 3rd gear pulls due to slipping clutch in 4th gear.
But you can see it pushed power production farther back, really nothing to be susprised about.

Also since I went testing on my car, I puilled the exhaust off and left the downpipe on it.
I went from 80% duty cycle to 95% duty cycle. Still same boost drop out issue.

Next plan is to make a dual port wastegate using the current wastegate.

or perhaps you never mentioned load at all and we all were led to believe that like a NORMAL person, you started the pull in the 1:1 gear at 2k

even ignoring the shape of the curve, those numbers are pathetic

I'm not sure I'm still figuring out the issues, as I figure them out I will post up about them. at 10-11 psi it made 180whp up top 6500-7000 area
