want me to send you one to try? i have 2 spares.
I already have a spare, need a back-up replacement. I keep looking for the VW sensors but not all of the have the same plug. Some Bosch sensors with the LC-1 style plug are not WB (ask me how I know.

It's been know the NTK sensor (engine dyno's I know) are more accurate and tend to last longer. I might go this route even though I already have a TechEdge for a while.

it's the Bosch 17014 sensor.

go to advanceautoparts.com

search for: 17014

add it to your cart.

type in FABU for a coupon code.

pay $37.99 plus tax and pick it up at your local advance auto parts.

(ask me how i know)

+1

I did this a few weeks ago to pick up a replacement sensor. I actually showed up before they had pulled it off the shelf. When I told them what I did they laughed and said it was an excellent idea.

That should be the same Bosch LSU4.2 sensor used by the AEM UEGO. Anyone able to verify?

I don't have Advanced out here either, but I can also get these for $37/ea with free shipping if I buy 2. That's one hell of a deal.

This should prove no issue for my caveman level soldering skillz.

I need to get on the LC-1 train. I have one in the garage, but the motivation is low, and I'm afraid I'll wire it in incorrectly.
