Ford Motorcraft 10w-30 Diesel Oil
So I’ve been running Rotella T6 5w-40 in my stock block ‘95 turbo thanks to the information and consensus on this site. Before researching the subject here, I wasn’t even aware that diesel oil was a viable option to put in a gas motor.
Bearing this in mind, I have an essentially unlimited supply of 10w-30 Motorcraft diesel oil. To find out if it’s a compatible alternative to the Rotella oil, what key standards/ingredients should I be looking at?
The car is a dual duty commuter/track car. It’d be cool if I could use the Motorcraft stuff for stints in between track weekends (I’m assuming the 5w-40 will be better suited for high temps/abuse on track) but I don’t want to push my luck if there’s something about the oil that won’t play nice with my engine.
Thanks in advance for any input!

Run the Rotella T6 on the track and the other on the street. There are better track oils but sometimes it isn't enough of a difference in $/wear to be worth it unless highly stressing the engine.
