Can a car ever really be done though. There is always something more you want to do.
No. Yes. Now, and for a long time from now: Yes. No |

I had some time to testfit the manifold with the turbo and i think it looks pretty good.

Totally serious question: how much Bondo is in that picture, just below the very pretty white paint?
|
What purple is that?
|
Spray foam, file, then bondo?

What caught my eye was the intake manifold. |

That's the weird thing about being "too pretty."
When it's a woman, you can assume that they are going to be high maintenance and probably have some self-esteem issues. When it's a car, you can assume that you're looking at an ocean of body-filler. |
what the F is thaat intake manifold?

Also one of my designs. Welded by someone else

Read your thread.... appears to be a Skunk2 with a large custom plenum? I can dig it. :)

Buildin' more stuff.
Some of it is being done the hard way: https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...2601a64c35.png And some the easy way: https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...a2937389c1.png I have to admit, the hard way and the easy way are both fun in different ways, distinguished mostly by how many of a certain part needs to be made. More than 2-3, and I usually go the easy way. |
Joe, you need a decent 3d printer. I am constantly surprised at how may tools and parts I can make with plastic. 9/10 they do exactly what the metal part would have.

It's a better-made version of this piece here: https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...7ab2a6f51b.png |
Emachineshop.com rocks it as usual. New column-locking plates for about $300 (total) per pedestal, vs $7,000 each for factory rebuilds. These 35 year old peds still have spunk left in them.

Not sure if I'm making this more complex than it needs to be:

Printed afm delete pipe for 1.6 airbox, testing before turbo. Designed on 360 fusion and printed with a tevo tornado using petg.
