I think he's avoiding us

He is. He replied within a couple hours when weird amazon Adlinks were popping up in the classifieds a couple days ago.

@IB Nolan I never would have guessed it, but fuzzy pictures suck even on a Saturday.
|
Hey @IB Nolan i hope you had a good weekend. I took Sunday off from informing you how badly this forum works now, and how much everyone hates fuzzy pictures, because well.. Sunday is a day of rest.
Happy Monday! PS: I hope whomever invented fuzzy pictures finds a special place in Hell. |
I'm betting that the world will be coming to an end before IB realizes that their insistence on the "related thread" addition tacked on to the end of each thread is driving away members and so negatively impacting their income. Or, maybe membership has been declining and this is their effort to improve the numbers? In either case it will be a sign of the impending apocalypse.
|
You can go into your options and eliminate the related threads as well as the infinite scroll. Nothing we can do about the fuzzy pictures except bitch.
|
It's Monday night, and much like Mondays, fuzzy pictures suck.
|
Seems pretty obvious @IB Nolan doesn't care about us. I am going to cancel my paid membership until this is resolved. I think if more people join me, maybe then they will realize that their users don’t want this shitty “feature”. It feels like I’m trying to load threads with “56k don’t bother” in the thread title. |
None of the other Miata sites have fuzzy pictures.
|
@IB Nolan I really need those fuzzy images, please dont take them away:

I could create a .js file that could defeat it, but you'd have to install a chrome extension like snippets and run it each time.
i only see lazyload.js as a way for IB to cheap out on paying for bandwidth by only loading the content to user is actually going to view [or scroll into view], but then they add continuous scrolling which encourages a user to sit there and constantly load content forevers. |
@IB Nolan, I pay a lot of money to this site each month. Fix the fucking pictures.

defeat:
https://jsfiddle.net/braineack/5z64pjhs/ if you can inject this into the site, it will find all the fuzzy images on the page and switch them to the real ones. |
Apparently, a long-held mystery is now solved. Dilbert works for IB.

Ahem. I am here to say that fuzzy pictures kill babies. @IB Nolan you don't like killing babies, do you?
