Thanks for the quick replies. I will check out those videos when I get home with my copy. I have been a long time C&C player I just for some reason never tried SC. I am looking forward to having something fill my boredom.

 

I just never stop producing probes, ever, and trying to expand. I like maps where there are places that can only be gotten to with air, so i build a transport fast and create a new nexus there and just start building a void army off the radar.

i beat a n00b that way last night, he kept trying frontal assaults with ground units and couldnt get past my cannons and warp gates, then i just flew in behind his base, took out his mineral production and pwnt hard.

 

Nobody comes on vent anymore :(

I will play with you Rick, at least once I figure out WTF I am doing I will. Being Unemployed means I have a lot of free time. Maybe even enough to get as good as the Koreans.

 

i'm getting a new headset today so i can actually talk to people and have them hear me. Do you guys use vent while in game, or the ingame system?

I am going to finish playing through campaign tonight to learn everything. So most likely I will be on to actually play tomorrow.

 

you don't learn much. the last mission is you getting zerg rushed for like 30 minutes and you run out of resources 26 minutes into it. It's made harder when a certain special troop comes in with massive health and hella destructive.

 

Ventrilo is so quiet. i have turned on reverb to pretend there is someone there.

 

I was in for like 3 hours yesterday and no one showed up... and I hate to be in vent when no one is there cause I have my headphones on which is annoying.

 

i always use my headphones so i get on vent anytime I'm playing. no one is ever on when i am :(

 

God I suck. I've been trying some 2v2s but I just cant seem to build fast enough. I just need more practice i'm sure but its tough to practice when you've only got 30 minutes a day to play :(
