ya i was considering that headlight/tailight conversion but thats almost 1grand in itself. I think im gonna go with the MSM, upgrade my ecu and ill go from there. Thanks for the input all!!

 

Turbo what uve got. MSM is worthless except for tranny, shocks, diff. Best miata ever from the factory. Ud replace all the tyrbo stuff tho if u wanted it to be fasrt.

 

The MSM's better chassis stiffness is a significant advantage.
And the factory Big Brakes.
And the 6 speed
(but the short diff sucks)

I'd definitely go with the MSM.

 

Shush Kristen! Work what you have. The only things Id want from a MSMS is the transmission and the LSD. If is about looks then replace your NB nose with the NBII and dump the 11k youre going to pay for a MSM on the 2000.

 

If you were starting from scratch and was asking us for advice, I'd suggest the MSM based on what you stated you want.

But since you already have an 00 NB and would have to sell that, probably lose a bit of money on it in the process, then hunt down an MSM it just doesn't make much sense to me to go through all that just to have a quicker car.

You can get 200whp out of an NB VERY fast/easy/simple.

Then concentrate on all the other mumbo jumbo, like suspension/etc.
in the end the NB will come out much cheaper....

 

yeah ou're not starting froms cratch so just do the NB. I know of a kickass turbo kit for sale...
