5 pages of responses not enough interest Pat?

Would the masses prefer to use 01+ Sport Rotors, or the Corrado G60 rotors? I have someone to make the brackets.

UrbanSoot 04-15-2008 06:16 PM

whichever rotors are cheaper. i want some brackets too!

Mark,Chikara motorsports already make mounting brackets for the 01+sport rotors for their BBK.

cjernigan 04-15-2008 07:06 PM

I bet the corrado rotors are hella cheaper than the 01 sport rotors.

Yeah... That is what my research has shown me. Do we have decent interest in brackets to fit the front with an RX7 Caliper with a Corrado G60 rotor? Like I said. I can get it done. The guy wanted to use my car this weekend to mock it up, but I am busy and need to locate some RX7 front calipers.

airbrush1 04-15-2008 07:40 PM

I'm in for corrado rotors and rx7 brakes. depending on cost of course

Braineack 04-15-2008 07:41 PM

there is more than decent interest. You build it, they'll buy it. See how many views are in the COP conversion thread? over 33K, I'd expect the same.

Mach929 04-15-2008 07:52 PM

yeah i'd say there would be a good market for an affordable brake setup, make sure they fit under popular wheels though

This would be hard. I only have 16" Volk TE37s for my car!

RusMan 04-15-2008 08:36 PM

I can make some brackets or full kits if you guys are interested. Corrado rotors and wilwood dynalite calipers, what I have right now.

elesjuan 04-15-2008 08:43 PM

Theres more than enough interest for some VW Rotors! Go!!

M-Tuned 04-15-2008 09:35 PM

Done deal.. They are going to make brackets so you can use an RX7 Caliper and Corrado Rotor. My car will be going under the knife for this very soon.

zarish 04-15-2008 10:09 PM

I am in. Like to know what the cost would be around.

Miatamaniac92 04-15-2008 10:24 PM

I'm in for the brackets. Also, depending on cost.

I have a 99 and was planing on using the stock rotors. Is there any reason you can't? Guess I'll find out eventually unless there's a reason why it wouldn't work.

I was hoping it would work with stock rotors so this is a cheap upgrade. I got the calipers for 40. The brackets wouldn't cost shit to make. I'd sell the brackets for 20 bucks if I made them. It's just a piece of flat stock with 4 holes in it.

For you, I'd give ya the family discount... Twice as much as everyone else pays. ;)

MX5Fr34K 04-16-2008 12:05 AM

Any word yet on the brackets? I'd love to pick me up a pair for the front brakes. By the way, GREAT discussion thread.

To Quote, "IF YOU BUILD IT, THEY WILL COME." :friday: I came, and now I am drooling to have me some 4 piston calipers tossed onto my 2000. :yippee:

Arkmage 04-16-2008 12:09 AM

Ordering up a set of calipers tonight... if there arn't any brackets available by the time I get back from offshore I'll model some up and send them to my CNC shop for a "sample build".

M-Tuned 04-16-2008 10:05 AM

Probably around $75-$85 for the brackets. There is quite a large investment for the company making them as they need to run 250 brackets at a time.

Still a great price in my mind.
