I want to say about software upgrade, if you are already using maxidisplay, you can send me box for about upgrade.
Because comes many update last 5-6 years. its free, just need to pay shipping cost :(

faster menu speed and buttons control
improved big characters
now peak values stored in memory, never clean when you are engine off.
in setup menu AFR CAL option, better display for afr
LEAN AFR alert option
date & time option
input from flex fuel
some others
but I want to say, maxidisplay not the same 6 years ago maxidisplay.
I can upgrade yours for free..

What about using an Android tablet like Samsung, LG or Nook Fire? I have seen a Miata company abroad that uses Android tablets or Apple iPads as displays for Megasquirt ECU's via Bluetooth.

 

You don't have to go abroad to do that, just need the tuner studio app and one of their serial to Bluetooth adapters. I'm using an Acer tablet just because it happens to be the right size.

note: that's actually an obd2 app displayed but you get the idea.


The solution being talked about in this thread is more for data display outside of a megasquirt environment.

 

Interesting that with no ignition key you have 2.5 degrees of timing and 24 inches of mercury vacuum. Is your vacuum hookup to the brake booster side of the non-return valve?

I have blutooth option too, you can use windows tablet or pc but not android :(
and no connection to megasquirt :(

look to table trace, its importand ( boost-afr and rpm-afr table)

 

Megasquirt uses serial comms, and all the black magic of the protocol is out there.....Betcha a gentleman of your intellect could figure it out easily.
