Now if they'd make those top 3 tires in a 225 width for 15's. Too bad they didn't wait a month to have the rs3 in there.

Andy Hollis did the testing like 2 months ago, they have been pestering him on m.net and sccaforums about the results, I bet he is relieved to not have to keep silent now.

super stiff V710s work on the factory wheels, but I dont think a regular street tire would work well at all

I just got 01 NB wheels that came with new Hankook ventus hr2 tires size 215/40/16, and I like them, they have decent grip. They must be a light tire because my wheels now weigh 1 lbs less than my daisies did with 185/60/14 toyo's.

I ran 225/45/15 RS2s on 6.5" wheels on my Civic that I sold to buy the miata and they worked very well, other than in ponding water on the interstate during a torrential downpour. They autocrossed alright in damp conditions, and did pretty well in the dry too, though I still preferred running my Hoosiers.

Yeah, I thought so too until I was unable to find any RE-11s in stock anywhere in the same size. I know Tire Rack also is pushing the RE-11 and other Bridgestone tires, but stock left is either zero or <4 tires. Not much currently available in 225/45/15, even though lots of tire makers have planned on that size.

Gruppe S claims they will be the 1st reseller to have the RS3's. No pricing from them yet.

i talked to andy about this at airport and he had me sold on the r1r. I still want an all-season for street rubber though.

well, I have a set of unused 205/50/15's that I need to sell if my 15x9's make it in time for TDR@MSR.

I don't want to run expensive rubber on the street with 2* camber in the rear with 1/8" tow-in.
