For that price the FM $17 unit would work just fine.
I'm thinking less than $2 in hardware from the local Ace and a couple tacks with a mig or tig welder.

Yeah, but I'm easier to deal with than FM and don't charge out the *** for shipping.

Besides, I'm sure it will also be useful to honda and dsm folks so I will have other markets for them.

FM uses two studs with an adpater in the middle.

so a standard m10 studs and a standard m6 stud (i still think it may be m8), then each screw into the adapter block...then then a nut on top of the sensor.

Now that wouldn't be to hard to make either. The adapter is the only fabbed part unless there is a union on the market that does the same thing.

McMaster PN 93355A105 was the closest I could find (5 min. search), it's got enough meat to drill and tap one side to the M10 without any problems though.

No they don't. Not unless they changed the mount since I bought my link in January.

It looks like hex bar stock that is drilled and tapped on one end to accept the bolt that hold the sensor on. The other end looks like it has been threaded to screw into the motor.
