what do you estimate a cost for a hood will be (fiberglass)?

Between $175-$225. $175 if things go well and there isn't much work to be done to make the mold. $225 if we have to fabricate the scoop completely and it ends up being more labor intesive than we thought. More than likely will be $200.

REMINDER: I am not making money off of this. I want to help you guys out and give my guys something to do since it is a little slow. I'm not trying to step on any toes by selling stuff here. If there is a problem with that admins, please let me know.

but all I really want is a vent in front of the hump with a .75-1" air foil. Simple, almost stock, sexy time.

Oh yeah, that screams simple right there. I know what you mean though

Actually, you mean Jame Gumb, a.k.a. "Buffalo Bill". Hannibal was not a transexual necropheliac..

Anyway, I am with Y8. Small and hairless.... er... I mean, please consider something for NB. Simple and functional. And not ghetto ugly like the current 'extractor' offerings at cr.net.

@lev; what size hole did you cut? Wonder if I can get that scoop in the hole I cut.

The scoop is iirc 18x10, you need about 1/2 on each side so 17x9 would be the biggest the hole should be.

don't copy the autokkkoonexun hood becuase it won't fit with a '99 motor.

It's simple, mold a carbon trix scoop into a stock hood, make copies in fiberglass and sell them. Done

I'd like to pick up that and my bumper next weekend. I may even bring a little Piraat to show my appreciation.

rharris19 08-12-2009 11:54 AM

Hopefully it is all done by then. It is all up in the air right now, but I will know better on friday. If I have the scoop in by then, I can make it over the weekend. If not, then the trip may need to be postponed until the 29th.
