Following want with barn doors molded in:
Savington
Cspence
pronto
Reverend Greg
elesjuan
Snowboarder

Without Molded:
Hustler
ZX-Tex
newbsauce

Who am I missing?

Cspence 10-13-2009 08:24 PM

hmmm, math is power....looks like makin the hood with the barn doors molded in should be made first...;)

gospeed81 10-13-2009 09:14 PM

I will want the molded in one as well...but won't be able to afford it this year.

cueball1 10-13-2009 09:22 PM

Molded in would be my choice. Not sure whether I'm in for a hood or if I'm just going to louver mine though. Guess it all rides on price.

Savington 10-13-2009 09:23 PM

Remember, you can make the molded-in hood and then customers that don't want them can trim them out before painting them.

orion4096 10-13-2009 09:46 PM

Add me to the list of people interested in one with barn doors not molded in.

triple88a 10-13-2009 09:52 PM

i betcha few more people would jump on the wagon once price is set.

rharris19 10-13-2009 09:55 PM

I am making the mold first for the non molded one then making the mold for the molded one after that. That way the non molded has a good fit and not just a cut out fit.

Since I am making two molds, would you guys with the molded in lights like it if the hood was just smooth and no headlight lines?

rharris19 10-13-2009 10:18 PM

Is everyone planning on using hood pins with it? Those that are will be able to get theirs faster. It will take me a little to weld up some catches that will make it fit at exactly the oem spot.

Savington 10-13-2009 10:37 PM

I'm pinning mine. The stock catch is heavy as hell.

leatherface24 10-13-2009 11:13 PM

No chance of anything being made for the nb huh

Reverend Greg 10-13-2009 11:14 PM

I would prefer no lines but ,lets be sure Vented with no bump?

Too late man. Already went into mass production. I have hired on ten more guys just to do your hood. ;)

No sweat off my back. Let me know if you need one in the future. The molds aren't going anywhere.

It will still have the bump in the middle. I will post up some pictures either tomorrow or Friday when we pop out the mold.

Braineack 10-14-2009 08:40 AM

slutz4 10-14-2009 10:06 AM

No, I have to pop it out of the mold. It will look about the same as the post with the carbontrix scoop between the headlights.

Shipping should cost around $100 depending on where you live. My fedex freight account is only set up for business to business shipping. It cost substantially more to ship to a residence.
