Wonder a bit on the CUP car and the "Global" MX-5 CUP.
IF $75k is a target point there will be were few interested outside the US (at least from EU).
Mazda have not made any appearance in motorsport in EU since 323 GTX in WRC and the win at Le Mans (local efforts but none noticeable from Mazda Corp).
There are many tree shade race firms in the UK with more cred than Mazda when it comes to racing here.
With that said there are many cooler options than a simple MX5 for $75k, although the running cost will be higher.
A 5gen Camaro comes to mind (Howe built).
$35k would be more like it.
