Read the thread.

I re-read the thread in its entirety. Mishimoto, as usual, is definitely pandering to the CR crowd like children with shift-dildos shaped like BMX handgrips designed to reduce the useful life of the synchronizer rings.

Really? With shit like

Serious question: whose hand is that? It has to be a professional hand model. His nail beds are so damn healthy.

What, mean aren't allowed to have clean, healthy fingernails? The woman is envious of my strong, durable nails.

(Forgive the positioning of the small finger. The proximal phalanx bone healed with a noticeable rotation from normal after being shattered and pinned back together. When I close my hand into a fist, that finger wants to pivot inward and there's nothing I can do about it.)

I had been following the release of the ND for quite some time. When I actually got to pick it up and drive it off the lot, I was ecstatic. Incredibly fun to drive and probably the most fun I've had driving any car.

However, when pulling into the garage, little did I know that I would find my wife incredibly let down by my impulse purchase. That's what it was, an impulse. I wasn't thinking long term and the inconvenience to our family it would cause.

So, if you are in the California area and looking for a practically new ceramic ND Club model (its an automatic). PM me asap, as the car needs to go.

Also, I thought yours was black?

I'm also in NC and don't have a wife. :likecat:

Braineack 10-27-2015 11:37 AM

This just makes me laugh.

Braineack 10-27-2015 11:53 AM

honestly, seems like the wife/child would be better off without such a horrible husband -- so suggestions of divorce would be beneficial to society.

I had a snarky response for that guy, but just deleted it. I can't even with these people.

Yesterdays winner was definitely LowBb, though.

If my wife impulse spent 25k on a car I would be pissed and she would be in therapy for whatever causes someone to think that is a good idea.

I like what he's putting down. Re: Fender Hash Marks

Lore has it that hash marks on the fender denote a new/inexperienced, to racing, driver, as a warning to seasoned pros to watch out for. Though I'm no race driver I'm far from new or inexperienced and wouldn't want them on my car.

That's what I was thinking, if the other half went out and dropped (probably more like $30k) that much on a purchase with no prior discussion, I'd be livid.

But I no longer have another half, so I can do what I please.

My favorite was his follow up post, thinking you were laughing WITH him, not at him. Poor fella.

Poe's Law is extremely strong with the mnet crowd.

Far be it from me, the person who started this thread, but can we perhaps talk about the ND? Personally, I'd expect most of the regulars on this forum to be above the cr.net style forum bashing. Seen from the outside, my initial response is "who gives a f**?". I just don't get the juvenile us vs them rants. Waste of time and kind of embarrassing.

y8s 10-27-2015 01:42 PM

Emilio, you obviously don't "get" the Internet.

But anyway, this thread is totally about the ND but has low SNR.

In for more in-car 949ND vids. I'm want to see how a street/track version of it really does for lap times at the various tracks out there.
