Not yet, but that Rebecca Black video you tried to post could put a lot of us over the top.

So, since this thread is going nowhere in a big hurry, I was wondering, assuming he sells it, what the next owner could legally do about the situation after he found out about the crank wobble. If the next owner could prove that he knew about the problems before selling it and made no mention if it, could the next owner persue any sort of compensation?

False advertising might not fly however most states have the lemon law.

If he sells it as is there really is nothing the next buyer can do. It's up to that person to inspect it. Which a wobbly pulley should be an easy spot.

Anyways, yes OP, I hate you. In fact, I never liked you.

Have you ever sued someone? It's easy to talk about and a pain in the *** to do. Have you ever tried to collect on a judgement? It's much much much much harder than the lawsuit.

Full disclosure is legally required. When the guy who buys the car finds this thread, he has a strong case where an attorney will probably sign-on.

Some should make a "for sale" add with the same title, a link to this thread with quotes, and save someone a lot of heart ache.

OP are you ******* serious?

**** YOU. Seriously, what a dick move to sell something you know is broke like that. I've bought so many vehicles without full disclosure, and it's infuriating. But never THAT bad. I'm done, no more advice, kiss my ***.

Ok, well I decided to keep the car because of the fact of everyone making me feal like a god damn ********. First of which the car isn't going to break anytime soon. I give it a good well over 50k miles before it even starts to wear the timing belt. Second of which I would love to see one of you ***** ***** say this **** to my face and act like you do on the forums " all big and bad " Safe behind your computer screens.. Third, I only bought the car a month ago with this problem. A full time college student .. I can't afford a fucken crank nor do I have the time to pull the motor out and do everything on my own and have it up and running for monday to get to school. I don't have my parents to support me any more. This is a dog eat dog world.

1. You would be a ******** if you sold the car without disclosing it's actual condition.

2. This is the internet, get over it.

3. If you are a full time college student with no outside support maybe, just maybe you should focus on school and get a beater car until you graduate... or even a cheap stock miata and do some sort of DIY build after collecting parts for a year or so.

4. Sell the car. Please. Depending on actual quality of the car you might actually be able to sell it for a decent price with disclosing the actual condition of the car. The fix for someone with the means to do the work themselves is fairly simple. So it shouldn't pull too much value off the car.

5. Stop being a ***** and do the right thing.
