Default random wire question

Not sure if this is the correct section but, I pulled my motor a while backa and accidentally ripped this wire:

I'm guessing thats a ground, my question is can I just replace this wire with just any wire of equal thickness, or do I need something that looks this? Thanks in advance guys.

You can usually buy those braided ones at a parts store for like 5 bucks. Just match the eyelet with what you need.

Yes, you can replace it with regular wire. Keep in mind that the hot exhaust is right there though. If your non-FI you should be okay. Use a good size gauge too, IE; 6ga.
