So, 1 week before getting my miata back and trading my brother my crx hf that I rebuilt over the winter something happens. So he was driving it through Cary Town in Richmond VA when some douche merges into him. The passenger side fender is dented up, not too terrible, but its creased enough that it will need to be replaced.

I'm positive that Braineak's bad luck is now infecting me after multiple close contacts (lunch). I can only hope that I get through the infection before I start spreading the virus as well. Keep an eye on the news though in case a pandemic is declared and miatas around the country start having random issues without warning.

 

Sux, but at least the fronts are a bolt-on item.

No, I had my bro get all his info and call the police. However the cop basically shrugged it off, he didn't even write a report.

Truthfully though, if I can find a fender for like $50 I'm not even going to bother with the hassle. I plan on getting the car repainted eventually so I could care less about getting it paint matched.

You should pick up the Autokonexion widebody fenders that are coming out soon. They look OEM, but decently wider.

 

Or you could be like me. Bought a MS from Brain for my '94 and it is still sitting in the garage. Realistically won't be installed until next spring. I need to get the Hydra on my '01 finished before I start another standalone install.

Speaking of that though. I know I can pop out the largest parts of the dent just by looking at the pics. I wonder how well a fender roller would do in rounding out that lip. Its possible its salvagable.

 

I was originally going to buy that evo orange you have steve. I ended up going with the tc I have now because I needed the storage room for trips for work. I regret it everyday...lol. It was a great deal with matching ht if i remember correctly. Like 8k with like 30kish miles wasn't it?
