You ECU has shipped with UPS; France no longer accepts EMS so I could only ship with UPS. I expected you to have the ECU today, let me know if you don't have it tomorrow.

Upgrade to an MS3 now to have your car ready and fully running by April.

I know I asked earlier, but with the launch control, if I were to hook it to a switch would it constantly limit the rpms with the switch grounded out? Or is it only when the clutch isn't engaged? I just don't fully understand how it works.

Reverant 01-15-2012 03:42 PM

Exactly. Use a momentary switch to achieve a proper launch. Hold it down when you want the RPMs limited, release to launch.

Keep me on the list, please.

I'd like to start running MS2 on my daily on the stock early 1995, but convert to CMP/CMP from a 2001 in a few months. This is only settings and external wiring, right?

85z28 01-17-2012 06:07 PM

So I've been researching and apparently with the AEM unit for a 9093 car they simply cut into the brown/white wire of the clutch switch. That takes care of grounding out the launch control switch. Does the flat shift feature also work off of that switch?

Edit: I'm simply trying to make the flat shift and launch control work without having to use a toggle switch.

Reverant 01-18-2012 02:06 AM

Yes, that will work with the MS as well. I would still advise to use a master on/off switch between the ECU and the clutch switch.

85z28 01-18-2012 02:31 AM

So yellow wire to toggle switch to clutch sensor. Seems easy enough. Thanks for the clarification, it took me about 3 hours of searching to find that info, and I couldn't find any to confirm it so I just wanted to hear from the horse's mouth.

Reverant 01-18-2012 02:33 AM

GREY wire. The yellow wire is the wideband input.

Sorry, at work on break, going from memory.

85z28 01-18-2012 03:35 AM

Want to tell me how to do sequential now that it's up and running?

You will need a resistor before the LED+. Is this to activate the switch tables/launch control?

85z28 01-22-2012 03:30 AM

Yes. What resistor?

Reverant 01-22-2012 03:35 AM

For normal LEDs, a 1K resistor is fine. For high brightness LEDs, a 680R is needed. This assumes that the LED+ is connected to 12V.
