For the '94+ guys, the easiest way to go is to put a set of bullet connectors in. There's a connector that sits on a neat little bracket on the passenger side of the valve cover, right at the back of the head. It connects the main engine harness to the coil harness, which then splits off into two and goes to the stock coils. What I did was cut the harness there, and put bullet connectors in at that point. It lets you quickly swap back to stock ignition if you ever need/want to, and makes the install solder-free. The COP harness hooks into those bullets and everything else plugs right in. If you want something more permanent, you can also cut/solder, but there's no reason to. The kit obviously includes a full set of bullets (15 connectors) so you can install the bullets on the other half of the OEM harness for a quick swap back.

I have enough brackets to fill my pending 1.8 orders but no more (sadly). I ordered too many 1.6 brackets and not enough 1.8s, based on early order trends that completely flipped later on. I want to do a group buy on the brackets soon, though.

Send me an email to sav -at- jay kidd -dot- com and I'll get back to you when I'm back to my computer on Sunday night. Sorry for missing your PM.

To the top. If you are waiting for a kit, your harness is built and ready to go, and I have 5 sets of coils in the mail. I'm looking to take one, MAYBE two more orders since I like to build these in batches, but I do not want to get swamped like I was 2 years ago with this.
Current price is $300 shipped. 1.6 kits, lead time is ~2-3 weeks, 1.8 kits is about 2 weeks longer since my 1.8 brackets are out of stock. If you're interested, send me a PM.
Since each harness is custom built, I can do everything from a basic 1.6 kit to a sequentially wired 1.6 chassis running a 1.8 motor. I do not do piecemeal kits, i.e. no coils or just a harness - the only piece I sell separately is the bracket, for $45 shipped.
Each kit includes a harness using brand new OEM Toyota clips, a 10k MFD capacitor, and either labeled splices or a gutted ignitor depending on the chassis year.
