I bought a racing game from STEAM for $5. It's fun. I just wish it had a photo mode.

good thing they spent the extra 5 years perfecting those physics. and getting the vw interior correct.

Should have taken the same route forza went and hire an F1 team to help with the physics.
Probably would have made the game we were promised.

 

Isn't it though. I've always wanted a car flight simulator...

 

FWIW, those shots are on a custom track with very high speed and incline, so maybe possible

 

The driving physics are better in GT5 than in F3. I own and play both.

 

Some of my Miata friends in JAx were way into this game. Wasn't even a game for them, really. They'd score the course layouts for the autox that weekend and set it up and run it in iRacing before showing up to the actual autox. They both had NAs, one n/a running CSP and the other turbo running SM, and they'd trade FTD week-to-week.

 

Now that is what I am talking about right there, generally speaking.

 

I saw those flying car pictures on gtplanet. That was you who made that track? lol

 

Yeah the AI is retarded, the sound is subpar, the physics sucks unless you use comfort tires, the default brake controller settings make you spin on every car, but it's still fun.

Now, where are my new tracks?

FWIW those of you playing without ABS and complaining about horrible oversteer under braking, you'll want to turn down the rear bias.

 

Played forza and this **** back to back.

You know whats sad?
My friend bought a ps3 last year.
I had an xbox 360 with forza 3.

Since he barely uses his ps3 I was going to borrow it and buy GT5 and all that.

Since I was almost certain that after delaying for 5 years the game would be epic, like a dumbass I went and sold the xbox and forza3.

Then, for the 1st time using common sense, instead of pre-ordering it I decided to wait til I read the reviews.

Then I see nothing but "THIS **** SUCKS MONKEY DICK" on every forum.
Then I play it and realize all the gripes are true.
