I just noticed the NA coupe in one of the background of one of the pictures I took at The Mitty at Road Atlanta a few years back.

Agreed. If they re-released the NA with the new ND engines and transmissions as the MX-5 Classic, a low cost sporty car, they would sell very well. The tooling and engineering are already amortized, but it will never happen.
