Spent all morning putting an LPT port on the 360. Looks like it will easily take 2 hours to dump a single copy of the NAND. I'll do this 3 times to make sure I have a good copy so I'm in for a long day.

In June 2006, Schene [officer in question] fatally shot a suspect, Pedro Yo [mentally ill], who attacked him during a traffic stop. Yo had run back to his car and disobeyed Schene's orders to stop. Schene said he saw Yo reach for something in the seat, so he fired 11 times after he ran back to his car. An inquest jury found Schene's shooting was justified.

The JTAG hack will let you run homebrew code on the 360. This means you can do stuff like store your games on an external HD, mod game parameters, run Linux, etc. You could do stuff like this on the XBox1 but it was always impossible to do it on the 360 until recently. Since the 360 has better hardware it will let you do more computer intensive things than what you could do with the original. You have to have an older version of the XBox360 dashboard (one that someone bought and never put online or did any updates too) so it is kind of hard to find a machine that can be used. I had one sitting over here for a while but it was so RROD that it was no longer usable. I bought the one I am working on now off Ebay.
