Several months ago, at the advice of mgeoffriau, I purchased a new kitchen knife. I rather like it.
A month or two after that, I happened to be chatting with an old friend of mine whose husband is a chef. The conversation got to me making some outrageously racist joke (I think it was the laundromat one), which led her to observe that despite becoming a city-boy in some regards, I was still the "same old Perez" she knew from high-school 25 years ago. I mentioned in an off-handed fashion that at that precise moment (at which I happened to be preparing dinner), I was envying her husband's knife skills, and noted that this was an extremely metro thing to say.
And today, I saw this:
Skill or no skill, I'm pretty sure I'll never have the ***** to practice that technique.

NAPLES, Fla. (WFLA) – A Florida woman was charged Monday with engaging in sexual conduct with animals. Collier County Sheriff’s Office deputies say Miranda Johns, 21, of Naples, recorded herself while she had sex with the dogs, NBC 2 in Southwest Florida reports.
Johns allegedly sent the videos to her boyfriend, according to NBC 2. The boyfriend later told officials about the footage, the station reports.
