We're not cooling off to consider going to the track and put on a firesuit yet. I got a sunburn yesterday accidentally not having sunscreen (I rode to a machine demonstration site with another guy and left it in my truck). Sweated my *** off.

i lost a friend years back in that manner.

truck driver violated his limits and wanted to get to Richmond early. fell asleep at the wheel and plowed straight into a stopped ECHO going >65mph.

it was a closed casket...

This happened yesterday about an hour from where I work. No fatalities (as yet I have read of)

Also, the title is likely incorrect. I have read in one source that the driver was a diabetic and passed out. Either way, hard to pass judgement so early on.

I don't think it would matter what type of car you were in if you were number one or two in that line he ran into.

In that accident your only option would have been a motorcycle and some classes to teach you what to look out for.

Yep. When on a motorcycle. You stay in first gear, hand on the clutch, with your eyes on your side view mirrors.

And I'd be really surprised if anyone in the 1st, and possibly 2nd, vehicle survived that.

When you're on a motorcycle you're taught to stop on the side. If i'm on the bike and traffic is slowing ahead of me (mainly on the expressway) i will split the lane.

Both are equally effective..

You can only pick one..

Which do you choose?
