Hall Resource Recovery Facility." Which is named after my grandfather as he was instrumental in getting it built. It burns trash to create steam for the nearby refinery. At one point on the tour we go outside to a staircase to keep going up to see the burners or a sorting area (IIRC this was a LONG time ago), it's those metal grate type walkway/steps that you can see through. I love heights! Like most I get the gut wrenching feeling in my stomach that descends lower into my groin but that's not what scares me. It's the voice in my head that constantly nags "JUMP, you know you would enjoy the moments of free fall" that makes me avoid those situations. It becomes a twitchy feeling that I imagine is similar to what a Tourette Syndrome person must feel trying to suppress the urge to spit out their tick words!

Air Force buddy just sent me this. Whoever has been holding on to this for a couple decades is a better secret keeper than I'll ever be... some of this is pure gold. No, it's not better than a giant sky *****, so the Navy is still in the lead, but this race is damned tight.

That teeter-totter looks good, until you're under the car and some dipshit comes over, leans on the hood and brings the whole front end crashing down on your skull.

I'll stick with my Quickjacks, thankyouverymuch.

they do at least provide a tall jackstand to prevent that. i think it's a little silly and wouldn't really work on some cars with a long nose or low exhausts.

I could see it possibly being a useful option if it was $500, but it's not, it's $1500.

My goofball coworker lost the key to his box a few weeks ago. Last night he decided to get in by cutting it with a cut off wheel and peeling it back like a sardine can. Followed by removing the cylinder and welding the flap back shut.

I just want to know how high he was when he thought this was a good idea.

There are certainly easier ways to get in a toolbox.

I caught a fish Friday at work.

Is that the same time that he labelled the drawer?

He puts apostrophes where they don't belong. I wouldn't expect him to make good decisions.
