They do explicitly put "WWW" in the icon, but HTTP was started in 1989 and 1995 is what I've found listed for 50M people so they're off by one.
I'm guessing "computers" means PC, but I dunno what "mobiles" means. 12 years is too long for iPhones (what's pictured) and too short for AMPS.
More generally, I think those numbers reflect much more on the capital costs required to grow the userbase of each device than anything else.

^I lucked out, I guess, in that since. I graduated in Dec 2005 and was able to consolidate all my loans to a ridiculously low rate. Like it's lower than inflation so I have never bothered trying to pay it off early.
