Detroit things. At first I thought oh, it's the Duke boys. But the more I think about it, I'm thinking it was the blues brothers.
Hilariously, I also live in Allen Park. Chances are I've seen him / the car before.

During my recent sabbatical in the Dakotas, I stopped in at a WalMart in North Dakota. I've been in one before, but it's been a long time.
I'd come to understand from the family down in FL (who shop there frequently) that they sell groceries now. Turned out to be convenient, as I was able to obtain, food, windshield washer fluid, a stout pair of scissors, and a small rug (the sort you put in a bathroom just outside the shower) in one stop.
Not a great vibe overall, and I can't see myself driving out to the 'burbs to visit one again, but it served my needs at the time very well, so I'm thankful for that.
It also exposed me to something which I'd never encountered previously:
"Select" popcorn.
"For yellow popcorn enthusiasts."
I'm not very knowledgeable about popcorn. LIke, I enjoy eating it, but I'm not a member of any of IB's various popcorn forums, I don't attend popcorn conventions, I don't have any books about popcorn, etc.
But it's gotten me wonder just how fragmented the popcorn enthusiast world is. From this, we can already derive that some people are enthusiasts about yellow popcorn, so presumably there are also white popcorn enthusiasts. I like to imagine a Ford vs. Chevy sort of schism dividing those particular sub-groups, probably with harsh language and occasional bans.

White popcorn goes with cheese. Yellow popcorn goes with butter and a little salt If you'd like.
Come on Joe, this should be common knowledge.
Random stray kitty that I've been feeding.

Pretty sure I've posted this as a reply several times before, too.
