Then I reread his post and realized he got it wrong, it's the Alfa Romeo 4C.
And not sure why you are surprised many performance oriented cars have moved to using a DCT.

It would be like if Ferrari were to stop offering red as a color choice. Even if there were indisputable evidence that painting a car silvers lowers its drag by 3%, for a whole lot of buyers, that would matter less than the car being red.
And hey, I also missed the 4C / C4 inversion. Didn't think Corvette for some reason, though. Like, taking a 4th gen Corvette with automatic to the track? As a tow vehicle, maybe.

I'd rather not be talking on the phone if I am driving at those speeds, anyway.
For any officers who may be lurking here, high speed driving means bouncing the car between the speed limit and a couple mph below, while using turn signals and stuff.
The "approved" and said the replacement would be sent soon. After 8-9 days, I messaged them again, "We've escalated, we are working on your problem."
It was delivered later that day. 3 days later I received a tracking number.
