2,750 metric tons of ammonium nitrate will do that to you.

For reference, OKC was only 2 tons of ammonium nitrate, plus diesel/nitro/Tovex getting the weight up to around 7000 lbs total.


It's really impressive how strongly grain silo's are built. In some of the videos, you can see the break in the shockwave around the silos.

Every major city on the planet has tens of thousands of photos (and likely dramatically more than that when you consider personal pictures people take) of it from various times, locations, and angles. Not to mention satellite imagery.

You're right. That cell phone footage TOTALLY looks like they person just happened to be using the FLIR ONE phone attachment.
