Came across an interesting yourtube channel called Defunctland. Probing the ruins of the theme park industry.

Some of this stuff I'd never even heard of. Like Halyx, the sci-fi rock band which played Space Mountain for one glorious summer in 1981:



One has to remember that Disney had absolutely no formal relationship with Lucasfilm at this point, Star Tours was still years away, and Disney still required a squeaky-clean image from its music performances at the time. So when a prog-rock act with a song called Jailbait (which is about what you think it is about) suddenly came onto the stage, it was a thing people noticed.
