I believe anyone that requests declawing should have the procedure done on them, first. Without any anesthesia.

 

Prediction:

Congress passes this law (without the no-anesthesia clause) shortly after Elizabeth Warren's husband invests heavily in a company which manufactures prosthetic fingers.

 

…..And then dropped into a hostile environment, unarmed. I am a life-long dog owner, with a couple cats along the way(one was actually adopted by a German Shepherd that hated people, maybe me too). Besides the physical-maiming part, it’s just wrong to deprive an animal of its best defense.
