+1 I'd tell my passenger to hold his or her arm out the window while I pass him so he gets the turbo clothes line.

My wife is the opposite. People comment on her looks all the time, but she doesn't believe them. She considers herself average at best, while most call her "cute".

I prefer the humble approach.

I wouldn't.

Beauty is skin deep, but ugly goes clear to the bone.

at most she's a little deluded. assuming the attention she gets is real, it's not her that has an issue understanding what "gorgeous" is.

I've looked at those. 2 grand, and not even power driven? For 1500 clams, I can get a parallelogram lift (power, Bend Pac brand) or a scissors style (again, power, BP brand) for half that.

If they were about $1000, I'd have one. Or, it they were motorized and $1400, I buy. But they are a bit on the chintzy side for 2k.

I'd get hydraulic, permanent-install ones.

something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Bend-Pak-Rise-Vehicle-Lift/dp/B000N4MJY8/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1333564618&sr=8-4

Amazon Amazon

Brain, that's the one. Available on eBay for $1525, or $1585 with the casters. Free shipping, and he's an autorized B-P dealer.

Weight is over 800#, so you'd better have a way to unload it. I would have it delivered to work, and then take it off the pallet to take it home.
