I remember having a conversation a few years ago in which I proposed to Corky that this exact same thing be done to create a cast "tubular" manifold for the BP. Well, I didn't suggest inconel, but I did propose the idea of using SLA to create wax patterns for an investment-casting process utilizing iron.
