Its like this in every bathroom at work. I want to meet the genius who decided to put all the automatic soap dispensers right next to the faucet.

I'd like to meet the genius who always decides to install a faucet so short that the water comes out right next to the rearward edge of the sink, rather than near the middle of the bowl as is common with kitchen faucets. I want to wash the whole hand, not just the fingertips.

When I built the house in Maineville, OH in 2003 (Holy cow, it's been 10 years now!) I really went completely OCD on the kitchen and the master bathroom. The kitchen was a work of ******* art. Not ultra high-end (no granite counters of stainless appliances), just very well structured. It was huge, completely open on three sides, and formed the literal centerpiece of the whole house. Apart from one wall (against which the fridge and oven backed) it was open all around, consisting of nothing but islands. Workflow was smooth, and you had tons of natural light, a good breeze with the windows open front and back, and line of sight to every other point in the central common area of the house. Frank Lloyd Wright would have approved.

In the bathroom, I installed a high-end kitchen faucet rather than a bathroom faucet. That put the water stream dead-center in the middle of the bowl. The realtor who sold my house (a friend of a friend) commented very specifically on this- and then she promptly stole the idea and did it in her home as well.

It was kind of like this:

I ******* loved that sink...

Why is it so damn hard to install, or for that matter, companies to design proper, center aligned faucets. My mom did a new kitchen a few years ago and put in a tall, pretty high end faucet, but the damn thing puts the water maybe 1" from the back wall of the sink basin... WTF!!! This huge, deep, awesome sink, and you can't use it correctly. Washing dishes by hand is a pain in the *** in that thing.

We bought a new faucet for our first floor bathroom for the same reason. Problem was even though it was a big U-shaped one like Joe posted, it still put the water too far towards the back of the bowl so we returned it.

similar to this:

A guy who bought some parts from me locally participated in this.

It looks dusty.

Bathroom designers (bathroom engineers?) in general are retards. My pet peeve is toilet stalls where the toilet is offset to one side and they put the TP holder on the same side RIGHT AT KNEE LEVEL, so you have to sit there and poop all rotated sideways and awkward.

mod edit: you were warned.

A friend shared this southern style rock band with me. A little Lynyrd Skynyrd -ish.

I like this one too.

I used to live around that part of Florida. Dirt doesn't really exist there, only sand and dust.

I passed this place on my way home. Had to do a double take. Church of MT.net? If that could exist?
