[QUOTE=faeflora;318796]I vote for no politics threads. And yes, I would have sex with Obama.

The amount of unadulterated bullshit in this thread is highly entertaining.

Oh, and isn't it clear that it's always "Obama vs. Palin" because McCain and Biden are quite uninteresting by comparison? That alone should make you question your priorities when "discussing" politics. (Note: The "you" in the preceding sentence is "all of you who keep seeing this as an 'Obama vs. Palin' thing.")

you're right. it's not palin vs. obama. it's "palin's name on the ticket invalidates the ticket"

And just what the **** makes Barack so Overly qualified to be President? His ~80% vote as "Present?" His 2 years in the Senate? Or his 2 years of Campaigning for President? Maybe his association with nefarious characters? His Wife and her Hatred for America? His socialistic views about "spreading the wealth" because "its only fair.."

What exactly is "Fair" about taking money I busted my *** for to give to some lazy bastard who doesn't do ****? Whats "Fair" about making my business pay nearly a %50 income tax rate so people who don't even pay taxes (23%+ of Americans!) can get a 'tax credit?'

Come on, Man. I'm not sitting here telling you how great John McCain will be for the country, I think we're screwed completely either way.. but Jesus H. Christ, SEE BARACK FOR WHAT HE REALLY IS! You can't call a Red Rose Violet!

Thats what i dont get. Nobody here is sayin that McCain is the best man for the job, but most libs seem to think that Obama is the best thing since sliced bread.

not all of us, I'm not voting for Obama. I've merely been trying to seperate the lies/msitruths about him and Mcain from the facts.

I wont deny that Obama favors tax breaks for 90% of the population at the cost of taxing large companies (PROFIT ONLY--remember, if you reinvest that money in your small business, you dont pay tax on it--so suck a dong Joe the Whatever).

But to think that he's the only one out there preaching this is just pure ignorance. And you dont have to hear it from me. Hear it from Another famous senator:

(seriously, watch it)

And regarding voting "present", read up on how the process works. It's a way to express disagreement with something without supporting the alternative--especially if that alternative is undesirable. Vote now: do you want to suck a dick or take it in the ***?

Lets see, next item:
Unsavory Characters.
1. Ayers. who cares? I have crazy religious christian relatives. Does that mean I'm going to believe in god? **** no. I have republican friends. Does that mean I'm voting for mccain? Also no. It's not like HIV. You wont catch "terrorist" from licking a terrorist.

2. Wright. he couldn't separate his preaching from his politics, that was the biggest issue there. His whole thing is that he questions the government. That in itself is not bad. If you dont, you end up in a fascist regime. the way he went about it was unacceptable and Obama really should have distanced himself from it early on. Point conceded.

3. ACORN. Who cares? If I register to vote 1000 times under my own name, what happens? Nothing. When I vote, the polling place checks my ID and lets me vote the first time and then says "no ****** way" the other 999. Obama didn't force anyone to do that. He didn't condone it. He just happened to be on the board of the organization that did it.

Next up, Michelle Obama:
1. what is she mad at? and how? and what's your source on this other than a photo of her looking what some blogger said is "angry"?

Finally, McCain doesn't seem to get what being a steady hand (his words) is all about. he stopped his campaign to fix the economy himself. he picked a VP that he didn't vet. his campaign seems to be everywhere and nowhere. he can't control his VP who seems to say what she wants and then has to retract statements a day later. Did you also hear about his brother running his mouth off to 911 to complain about the traffic? Not very relevant but still paints the family picture. Oh and I love the part where Palin gets up and addresses the Joe Six Pack in her super expensive Nieman Marcus outfit. Irony is awesome. Good job RNC. What's it they always tell you to do? It's not what she says, but what she does... well she should have said "this 150k in outfits and makeup will send the wrong message" but she did not. until last weekend when she threw her cheap jeans in everyone's face at a rally.

What makes Obama qualified, you ask? Just watch him. Watch him sit there respectfully taking criticism without lashing out and making well-thought out decisions without compromising himself. In the face of all of the above criticism, he hasn't lost his cool. If you want good examples of behind-the-scenes obama, look at Time photographer Callie Shell's photo journal of his campaign.
