The VF48 from the other thread? Not sure I'd trust the seals if Aidan touched it...
I'd need IC and injectors, right? While I do want, I cannot has. I've got too many other things going on right now that don't involve spending money on the DD. If its still around I'll prod you about it after things chill out, but don't hold on to it for me or anything.

I autox'd a good friend's GR STI this weekend. Built motor on E85 with the DOM 1.5 (something like 450-500whp if memory serves). It's an absolute animal. This was the path that I would have liked to take with mine, but adding up all the costs of supporting parts made my jew blood boil. One day, maybe I'll splurge on the bugeye wagon.

Yeah after 2 weekends straight of auto-xing mine pretty good. first in class and top 3 overall at both events my full bolt on LGT wagon said she had had enough. So time for 400whp on pump gas because taxachusetts says no to anything fun.
Im going dom 1.5 or dom 2.5 havent decided yet as there is only 2lbs per minute difference between turbos and my tuner says there isnt a large difference. so if i can get a deal on a lighly used 2.5 ill go that route. otherwise ill keep looking for a 1.5

This past winter the missus was looking to replace her 2006 VW Jetta and we ended up test driving a few different Subarus. She was debating between used and new, but I was pushing for her to go new. Ultimately she decided on a 2017 Impreza 2.0i Limited 5 door with all options. I have to say the car is really nice inside and out!
2 weekends ago we went to Maine for a wedding and took her car up instead of the Camaro, I drove the entire way up and back. Overall it's an awesome car, but the safety features and lack of power are my two biggest complaints. I like to be in control of the car, not the other way around! Blind spot indicators are fine but when the car beeps and decides to brake on its own, I'd rather it not. Cruising with steady traffic is a pleasure, but I'm not used to being "stuck" in the packs of people that don't know how to drive. Downshifting and getting by with ease is my preference for sure. Handling is superb and the car is just so easy to drive. Interior comfort was great and the sound system was better than I had expected as well.
For her, its a great car. Its AWD, its overly safe and it comes with a warranty. At the end of the day that's all that matters. Just wanted to throw my opinion in on the subject, as my only other experience in a Subaru was back in the day playing with a ex's early 2000's Legacy GT. That was a totally different car for obvious reasons.
Here's a picture I took this week of both our DD's at home.
