Yup. Might ditch the STI for one after a couple years.

I actually posted about this weeks (months?) ago on FB when the global marketing guy from Ford made the comment, but I wanted to see if you had another source or link.
Developed by a team of Ford Performance engineers in Europe and the U.S., the all-new Focus RS is the third generation of Focus RS cars, following models launched in 2002 and 2009. The 30th car to wear the legendary RS badge, the Focus RS will be built in Saarlouis, Germany. Focus RS is one of 12 new performance vehicles Ford will bring to customers globally through 2020 as part of a new era of Ford performance, and will be available for delivery to European customers from early 2016. Having said that, it does look neat. The "drift mode" thing is silly though  |

I think that's awesome. Send 70% to the back wheels and be able to enjoy some tail out fun!
I've tried this on sti's and the car still blowed like a fwd. |
So "everything" is installed on the WRX. Gonna daily it for a couple weeks while tuning.
Not sure how I feel about ELH: I mean I've driven tons of scoobs with them, but this is the 1st time I live with it including early morning cold starts and trying to drive to work as quietly as possible. It's not quieter than UELH, that's for sure. The frequencies are different, so different sound, and a bit more mellow, but overall it seems louder (as it should, it's quite a bit more flow over the stocker). Deleting the air pump was a really good idea. The turbo also has a glorious whistle at part throttle. I'll take some pictures soon. Maybe vids too |

I hope it's as good in implementation as it looks on paper and in theory.

a wee bit laggy for my taste, but I'm not complaining.
comparison https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1435904148 I'd be lying if I said I don't miss the torque from 2500-3500 :( But a tradeoff is a tradeoff, so it is what it is. Pulls like a beast from 4-redline. Tempted to run ALLOFIT |
about 100hp at the same boost? yeah...
what was your stage 2 setup? |
<p>downpipe+exhaust+aem cai</p><p> </p><p>I'm gonna try to get some of that lowend back today <img alt="" src="https://www.miataturbo.net/images/smilies/cool.gif" style="height:16px; width:16px" title="" /></p>

damn i love that low end... i need to maybe consider that dp.
My 3" spt exhaust should be fine right? |
That is sweet!!!! Damn I would sort of be tempted to leave it alone, that looks pretty fun as-is! What does it weight? My C63 is about 400whp and 3,700lbs, so I'm guessing your car is actually a bit faster... That's NUTS!

<p>Ok I think I'm gonna stop now <img alt="" src="https://www.miataturbo.net/images/smilies/gay.gif" title="Giggle" /> the stock long block is not gonna have a good time with any more.</p><p><img src="http://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.miataturbo.net-vbulletin/1024x650/80-20ish_20psi_1b10895e3977a173bba6e16b14c690b426d50b 86.jpg" title="" /><br /><br /> </p><p>

Lol, makes me want to tune my C63.... Tune alone is worth ~50whp on this thing, and it's NA!
No, play with miata instead..... |
Ok let's talk about catch cans.
Being on corn I don't want an AOS or anything dumping back into the pan. Also having a huge tmic I don't have space for the Moroso Dual catch can setup that I was wanting to get. So it looks like I may need to go custom/diy. I want to filter/"catch" both, the valve cover ports and the pcv. This means I need 4 ports. This is why most catch cans for this car (13 wrx gr) are dual catch cans. I want to try to do just 1 catch can. Is there anything out there that's of decent quality with 4 ports? 2 in, 2 out. |

if I go the dual can route, I'm kinda tempted by this:

The guys at RadiumAuto make some pretty bitchen cans:
https://www.radiumauto.com/Assets/Pr...=400&mode=crop They are a bit pricey though. I do kinda like the "filter" in the Jegs one you posted. |

Check out the Racer X setup for the BRZ, I'm sure they have it in a "generic" setup as well. http://racerxfabrication.com/frs-brz...stem/catch-can |
