but yeah i gather it's more a liability prevention than anything else. bottom line, he was a dick and could have been a lot more professional about draggin those kids off to juvy.
a normal cop would have just called for backup to embarass the kids and confiscated skateboards and called all their parents or somethin.
I still say his attitude was from driving the little cart.

Well, I guess you guys just live in another world then I do, for this is just completly unthinkable where I am from. Talk about creating criminals out of little kids! My thought after 30 seconds was: "Why are people around them not reacting and approching the cop?"

Having lived in Germany (Munich) for 5 years, I can certainly say that Baltimore is a different world. Baltimore is always in the top 3 cities for murders per capita in the US. The area this took place in is the nice tourist area though.

There was no assault. The cop is a douche, but didn't do anything that isn't justifiable. He handled himself poorly, but not criminally. All the kid had to do was say "yes, sir/officer" and "no, sir/officer". instead he acted like a smart mouth punk.
