I was going to say I think the import crowd will be cooler cus they mod their cars more. But. I have met so many hideously ignorant people at import meets. I mean, I suck terribly at wrenching but I am not that ignorant. Except when it comes to suspension geometry.

I would say the average IQ at the euro/bmw meets has to be higher --- more iq = more $, in theory. But. I have met many intelligent ppl who are ignorant as turd too. bleh

You know those little glowing rings around a BMW's headlights are called "cock rings", right?

You can pretty much expect whoever has them to be a cock.

 

Your BMW will be openly accepted at import meets. Your Miata might get pissed on at a BMW meet.

Intelligence and income potential doesn't mean a damn thing once you introduce selective ignorance into the mix. Maybe you'll get lucky though, and instead of finding a "BMW Meet", you'll find an "automotive enthusiasts who drive BMWs" meet.

Some import guys might be dumb as rocks, but their attitudes are going to lean more towards curiosity than outright inferiority complex.

 

I'm a member of the NCC BMW CCA. I always drive the miata to events.
