I just got my 97 miata started. Granted I only ran it for about 10 seconds to make sure all the gauges worked and such. Tomorrow I will let it run and check for leaks and burp coolant. After that I guess I get her tagged and then put some miles on her to see if there is anything else wrong with her.

The night before my one week check-up with the oral surgeon and my socket blows out at work. Blood, stitches against my gums., pain shooting from my eye socket down to my chest. No sterile gauze, meds at home, debris syringe at home...left work early to get home only to be greeted by a box of new gym gear that I probably won't be using for at least another week.

If there is a hell this must be it. Maybe I'll just work on my car...

I'd have to agree, its not a particularly enjoyable place.

Whats cool is when I go FOB hopping with the Slovakians, Slovenians, Georgians and whatever else we just draw dicks in the dirt and try to teach each other the word for "penis" in our language.

it's hilarious

I've been told dry socket is the worst pain one could ever feel. Mothers told me it was worse than childbirth.

Stop sucking and blowing. Also, smoking is a known reason too. Most reason however are idiopathic.

Go get some eugenol placed in that socket. If profuse bleeding, go bite on teabag...not go perform a teabag.

It was an instant fuck me in my asshole god dammit type of feeling. I just got back from the Doc's and he basically opened my mouth and said, "Yup. Looks okay." Because it's been a week since it was pulled they can't restitch the tender gums and all I can do it pack it with gauze and rinse painfully with Listerine. They prescribed me some oxycodone so it would stop the pain but not strong enough to where I wouldn't be able to drive to work.

Basically it's a too bad, so sad type of situation. It will heal, just gotta soldier through it.

On the bright side, I can go back to the gym. Just gotta take it slow.

Dude there is no taking it slow at the gym. You have Oxy, it will make the pain go away, and no pain no gain.

Brilliant move of the day: decide to splice the connectors for my EV14 injectors into the existing injector harness so I don't have 2 adapter connectors between harness and injector. Promptly snip off the female pins (that need to be crimped on the harness) instead of the male ones and have zero wire left to crimp. Now I'm witch hunting for either a dozen or so of those pins or hope that FIC won't rape me on a set of splice-in pigtails for their injectors.

Looking at their website, they show a set of "splice in" pigtails is included (free) with their injectors. It is the P&P that cost an extra $45 a set, so maybe they won't be as bad as you think.

The 'free' pigtails will run me $32 + $28 in shipping. I've found some on ebay for $30 shipped.

Lesson learned and another $45 wasted

I have asked to be on the do not call list about 10 times this week. Fuck. You. Telemarketers and companies who call right during the lunch time rush and want to do a customer satisfaction review of my service.

If I don't get taken off those calling lists I will actually take time out of my day to chew someone out.

The wife want's to buy me a PS4 for my birthday tonight, and I'm not sure I want her to. I do want one, but the game library is still quite small and I'm still happy with my PS3.

First world problems.

Throw that money into building a good computer.

This. Computers are so easy to build and for the price of PS4 games and the PS4 you could build a decent mini tower system. Just spend the money on RAM, Video card, i5 CPU, cheapest case, and a mini atx motherboard.

Then you can just slowly upgrade on it as you go.

I got one right when I got back from Afghanistan b/c I had a shit ton of money and I wanted to spend money on dumb shit. Now I kinda wish I had kept my PS3 or got a Xbox 1. I would stick with the PS3. Battlefield 3 online play isn't that great, COD XXIVXzomg is the same as the previous one. I have heard Assassins Cread is good.
